General description


plywood series catelog png.PNGPlywood is manufactured from thin sheets of cross-laminated veneer and bonded under heat and pressure with strong adhesives. Plywood panels have superior dimensional stability and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. And are highly resistant to impacts, chemicals, and changes in environmental temperature and humidity. Plywood made from our well-selected manufacturers is available in a wide variety of appearance grades, ranging from smooth, natural surfaces suitable for finish work to more economical grades used for sheeting. It is well-suited to a multitude of demanding applications.

Our plywood is made from Chinese local fast-grow trees such as poplar and eucalyptus etc. Actually, the product is a collaboration between the importer and manufacturer to meet specific customer needs and requirements.

The core construction, quality of core veneer, moisture control, thickness tolerance, glue type are per the agreement between mill and importer that will ultimately determine the quality of the plywood. Under the great trust of importers when purchasing a Chinese plywood commodity, our mission is to handle the balance and monitor the production process in the mill.

Core construction
Plywood is a product manufactured by an odd number of thin wood sheets (veneers) joined together through adhesive. The grain direction of each layer or “ply” is ordinarily at right angles to the grain of its plies at 90o to the adjacent layer. 

Concerning the wood species of plywood core, the main species often seen are poplar and eucalyptus. The construction of wood species is full poplar or full eucalyptus. Still, the customer can define a combination of core species according to their usage demand for enhancing the strength of the panel. For example poplar/eucalyptus alternative combi or any other construction. 


Type of bonding / Gluing The emission class is assigned in conformity with the EN 636 standard. The quality of our glues complies with the provisions of  EN 314 Standard, after suitable treatment in view of resistance to humidity (gluing class):

Class 1: urea bonding that meets the Class 1 requirements for the use of plywood in dry environments ( EN 636-1);
Plywood, bonded with interior glue type, is produced with glue-based in urea-formaldehyde resins. The feather of this panel is resistant to moisture (MR). It is recommended for use in protected places, without direct contact with water or even relative humidity. 
Class 2: melamine bonding that meets the Class 2 requirements for the use of plywood in humid environments ( EN 636-2);
Plywood,  bonded with exterior glue type, is mainly produced with the kinds of glues that can be used outside or in places with high relative humidity, or in direct contact with water. It can be exposed to the weather for a long period without delamination. 
Class 3: phenolic bonding that meets the Class 3 requirements for use in full exterior environments (EN 636-3).
According to its formaldehyde emissions, the plywood is classified according to precise technical criteria summarised in appendix B of  EN 13986. Formaldehyde (formic aldehyde, Volatile Organic Compounds) is widely used in the production of construction materials and furniture manufacturing and is also a secondary product of combustion and some natural phenomena, that are present both indoors and outdoors.

The emission class is assigned in conformity with the EN 636 standard.
The low emission class E1 panels do not cause a concentration of equilibrium in the air of the test chamber (defined in the EN 717-1 standard) greater than 0.1 ppm, the limit established by the World Health Organisation for living and residential environments.
NAF Green glue - plywood of the Eco plywood
With the NAF (No Added Formaldehyde) Certificates,  respond by far to the strictest world regulations (CARB Phase 2, Japanese F****, AS/NZS) and can keep abreast with the future, both in the ecological and technical sense. Though competing in resistance with traditional glues, the NAF does not emit formaldehyde and thus improves air quality.
